Are tryouts open to anyone?

Yes, open tryouts will be held on August 20th and 21st to fill any open positions we have. If you feel like your talent and skills aren't being showcased to their fullest potential, that's where Legacy Fastpitch comes into play. Come check it out!

Can I play for this team and my current team?

Yes, absolutely! We are not asking you to leave your current team. This will be a supplemental team to your current team obligation. Please note that some tournaments and practice times may conflict. Take that into consideration and make that decision prior to your commitment to Legacy.

What costs are involved?

To get started the team costs per player are $1,200. This fee includes uniform items. A cost breakdown will be provided at tryouts. The cost of travel for coaches and players is not included in the fee stated. Travel fees will be the responsibility of the player. Although no funds have been obtained at this time, we are working diligently to cultivate relationships with sponsors and private donors to cover all additional expenses. We will be soliciting donations and personal and corporate sponsorships to cover the bulk of the expenses.

Will the team travel?

Yes, this is a National Team! We are working on the schedule now and is scheduled to be published by August 20th. Possible venues could include Alabama, Canada, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, and Tennessee. The schedule will always be subject to change until all entry fees are submitted and processed.
